Suzanne Lipton'


Suzanne was a Research and Communications Intern at Brighter Green from the fall of 2012 to early 2013. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009, majoring in Art History with a minor in French. While a student, she started a lunch counter bakery in Ann Arbor's Sparrow Market. After graduating, she volunteered at the Gowanus Canal Conservancy in Brooklyn and worked as a pastry chef at Lot 2 in Park Slope. She is received a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University in 2014. She is interested in issues surrounding global food policy and sustainability. In summer 2015, she will begin a position with the Schumacher Center for New Economics in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
