Animal Rights 2015 National Conference

The Animal Rights 2015 National Conference will take place July 30-August 2. The first conference was held in 1981 which makes it not only the largest but also the longest running animal rights gathering.

Wanqing Zhou, Research Associate in the Food and Agriculture Program at the Worldwatch Institute, will be speaking on Friday, July 31, on The Impact of Animal Use on the Environment: How animal farming and experiments further climate change, species extinction and pollution.

Mia MacDonald, executive director and founder of Brighter Green, will be speaking on Sunday, August 2, on Winning for Animals in India and East Asia: Defining and confronting animal abuse in Asia.
