New Slideshow for Young Women’s Leadership Initiative

Brighter Green’s Mia MacDonald recently traveled to Kenya. While there, she visited the Kenyan young women participating in the East African Young Women’s Leadership Initiative in the boarding schools they attend, in and around the small city of Ngong and the Ngong Hills.

Seventeen-year-old Elizabeth Kironua Sakuda said about the effect of the program (now in its third year) on her. ‘”It has helped me on how to be a girl of substance and caliber, and how to lead myself, and also how to lead my community.”
