Cara Griffin is a student at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, concentrating in Environmental Activism and Film. Her interests in the ethical and environmental implications of current food systems and desire to raise awareness of environmental issues through documentary film has lead her to an internship with Brighter Green. She has traveled to Accra, Ghana to learn about global malnutrition, which has increased her interest in global environmental and food-related problems. She is particularly interested in waste management, sustainably-sourced food, and veganism as a tool for fighting climate change.
