Brighter Green’s Executive Director Mia MacDonald was invited to represent the U.S. Board of the Africa Network for Animal Welfare (ANAW) at their tenth anniversary celebrations in Nairobi on Monday, May 30th. Notable attendees included Kenya Wildlife Service Director General, William Kibet Kiprono and Professor Judi Wakhungu, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Regional Development Authorities. This event showcases the collaboration between the Kenyan government and various African animal welfare groups.
