Brighter Green at the New School

Brighter Green’s Executive Director Mia MacDonald spoke at the Global Diet and Sustainability Conference on October 12th at the New School in New York City. This conference explored the global consumption of animal based products (meat, eggs, and dairy) and the negative impacts these products have on humans, animals, and the planet. The discussion also addressed ways to make global food systems more humane, sustainable, climate-friendly, and equitable. Mia was joined on the panel by Dawn Moncrief, Founding Director of A Well-Fed World, Sergio Moncada, Deputy Director of Farm Animal Protection at Humane Society International, and moderator Chris London, Assistant Professor in International Affairs at the New School.
