Executive Director Mia MacDonald gave a presentation on Monday, April 7, at the University of Chicago entitled: “Meat World?: Current and Future Scenarios.” On Tuesday, April 8, she participated in a brown bag lunch with students and other members of the University community. The events were part of the University’s “Try Vegan Week.” MacDonald was a guest of the student-run University of Chicago Vegan Society. The April 7th presentation, the lead-off event for the week, also featured dinner catered by the Chicago Diner, the Windy City’s famed vegetarian eatery.
