Brighter Green’s Executive Director Mia MacDonald is teaching a course at Columbia University’s Earth Institute Center for Environmental Sustainability. The course is part of the Institutes’s Executive Education Program, allowing professionals from all sectors to gain the knowledge and tools to make sound decisions about business activities and policy practices that impact the environment. Mia’s course provides an overview of the multiple and varied intersections among environmental and social factors involved in food production and consumption, and is called “The World on Your Plate: Food, Equity, and Sustainability.” The course runs through early October.
