Satya Magazine Releases 20th Anniversary Issue Featuring Brighter Green Submissions

Last month, Brighter Green Associate Sangamithra Iyer and publisher Beth Gould released the 20th anniversary issue of Satya Magazine, The Long View. Program Associate Caroline Wimberly attended the launch party at MooShoes in New York City on December 10th, 2015 (pictured here on left with Sangamithra Iyer, right).

Satya Magazine was founded by Martin Rowe and Beth Gould in 1994 and ran through July 2007 for a total of 142 issues. It focused on animal advocacy, environmentalism, social justice, and vegetarianism and the intersections between these issues.

This special book-length anniversary edition features articles from Brighter Green’s Executive Director Mia MacDonald, Associate Wanqing Zhou, What’s For Dinner? director Jian Yi, as well as Sangamithra Iyer and many more.
