Wanqing Zhou to speak at Yale and UPenn

Associate Wanqing Zhou will be speaking at two upcoming events about China, food, and the environment. On October 11th, she will speaking at Chewing the Fat at Yale. Wanqing will be discussing the current reshaping of China’s food system. As demands for animal-products increase in China, there are growing concerns about the impact it will have on climate. She will be discussing this as well as the challenges associated with promoting sustainable food development.

Just a few days later, on the 14th, Wanqing will be at University of Pennsylvania to speak at the Ivy League Future of Food Conference. The annual professional conference on plant-based diets and bioethics takes place on October 13th and 14th. It will feature renowned professionals and will cover topics including medicine, climatology, policy, industry, finance, and consulting. She will be speaking on the Environmental Panel with Matthew Hayek.
