Young Women’s Leadership Workshop Underway

The East African Young Women’s Leadership Initiative is holding a workshop in Morogoro, Tanzania.

As a result of the discussions at the COP 17 Climate Change Conference, program coordinator Daniel Salau says the topic has been omnipresent at the workshop.

To counter climate change and honor the late Wangari Maathai, the women have been discussing the idea of planting trees during their next workshop, to be held in Kenya in January.
