Profile:

Ross was a Program Associate at Brighter Green during the summer of 2013. He is interested in the impacts the global livestock sector has in terms of sustainability, food security, climate change, and animal welfare. Most recently he organized a conference in New York that explored these issues. He has done research with the UN and a number of NGOs, including Humane Society International’s Farm Animal Division. His research on the livestock sector in Liberia was conducted while he was working in the country as program manager for Imani House, a grassroots development organization dedicated to empowering women. He holds an M.A. in International Development from the Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy at the New School and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
