The 2011 meeting of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 17) was held in Durban, South Africa from November 28 to December 9, 2011.
Mia MacDonald of Brighter Green attended the conference to share Brighter Green’s research on climate change and the globalization of intensive animal agriculture. Brighter Green shared a conference booth with Humane Society International and Mia participated in an official “side event” (panel discussion) along with Tozie Zokufa of Compassion in World Farming, Geoff Evans of Humane Society International, Andre Leu of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements, and Samwel Naikada of Dupoto Community Forest Association.
Her presentation is available here.
