By overturning Roe v. Wade and siding with the state of West Virginia to weaken national efforts to regulate greenhouse gas emissions, the U.S. Supreme Court has limited the equity and rights of millions, if not billions, of women and also men and children. These rulings are hostile to facts and the true exercise of justice. They also go against the expressed wishes and interests of the American people and will have dire impacts for people in the U.S. and around the world who are living amid a climate emergency and multiple inequalities. The Court is trying to turn back history — and reality. We have to look forward and continue to act for rights, justice, and equity.
