Good Food Fund Receives the Rockefeller Food System Vision Prize

We are excited to announce that last month, the Rockefeller Foundation awarded Brighter Green’s partner organization in China, the Good Food Fund (GFF), the 2020 Food System Vision Prize. GFF received the prize along with nine other innovative organizations from around the world.

The transformation envisioned by GFF includes a Good Food Hub, or community centered place, coupled with a smartphone app that drives and facilitates plant-based dietary transformation in Beijing. The hub serves as a kitchen lab, pop-up restaurant, learning center, resource library, and social media studio, while connecting eco-farms to communities, restoring healthy eating habits, and connecting people to nature.

GFF’s vision would use technology to promote a plant-based dietary shift, support sustainable agriculture and local producers, and reduce diet-related chronic disease among Beijing residents.
